At the Wound Care & Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment Center in Evanston, our multidisciplinary team of physicians and nurses provide expert care to heal chronic wounds that have not responded to other treatment.
The Best Option for Personalized Wound Healing
The Wound Healing Center is a team of certified physicians and nurses who provide a comprehensive wound treatment plan offering a multidisciplinary approach to wound healing. Using evidenced-based data, the specialized team is successful at healing chronic, non-healing wounds which are defined as wounds that have not significantly improved from conventional treatments. When a wound persists, a specialized approach is necessary for healing.
If left untreated, wounds that don’t improve within a few weeks can develop life-threatening infection, leading to amputation. It’s important to seek care from a wound care center and medical professionals with experience and skill in advanced treatment, including hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Our patients choose Presence Saint Francis for several reasons:
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy: Conditions We Treat

We treat many conditions that respond well to hyperbaric therapy, including:
