Rami Lutfi, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Rami Lutfi is a nationally recognized, board-certified bariatric surgeon, Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago and President of the Illinois Association of Bariatric Surgery. He has performed hundreds of bariatric procedures and has written extensively about the subject of weight loss surgery for leading medical journals. Frederick Tiesenga, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Highly regarded in the field, Dr. Frederick Tiesenga received his medical degree from the University of Illinois, College of Medicine, and performed his residency clinical training at Metropolitan Group Hospitals in Chicago. Dr. Tiesenga is an affiliate surgeon of the American Society of Bariatric Surgeons and is on the board of the Illinois Association of Bariatric Surgery. He is a U.S. Surgical Proctor for Bariatric Surgery and has trained surgeons from around the world to perform sleeve, bypass and gastric banding. Specializing in bariatric nutrition, Kim Mahoney works closely with you before and after surgery to provide information about nutritional guidelines and to help you navigate meal choices based on your personal preferences. She serves as your educator, supporter and cheerleader to help you stay on track and achieve your personal weight loss goals.
