The Independent Living Center has served Niles, the northwest side of Chicago and surrounding communities for more than forty years. Adjacent to Saint Benedict Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, the Independent Living Center also ensures you have easy access to comprehensive long-term and short-term skilled, intermediate and rehabilitative care if needed. The Independent Living Center has 29 private rooms, 10 of which are designated for retired priests. The Center provides three delicious home-made meals each day, served in a comfortable dining room. You also will receive housekeeping and linen services, and will feel secure knowing we have 24-hour staffing and an emergency call system.

Meet the Administrator
Anthony (Tony) Madl has been named the new Administrator of Saint Benedict Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Niles. Tony also has provided outstanding service during the past several years as the Administrator of Holy Family Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. And, he has served in a number of other leadership positions with Resurrection Health Care: as Administrator of Resurrection Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Park Ridge; Administrator of Maryhaven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Glenview, and Executive Director of Saint Andrew Life Center in Niles. Before joining Resurrection Health Care in 2001, Tony served as Assistant Administrator at Albany Care in Evanston, Illinois, and as Director of Social Services at Meadowbrook Manor in Naperville, Illinois. Tony has a Master's Degree in business administration and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology: Health and Aging.
