Villa Scalabrini Nursing and Rehabilitation Center has served Northlake and surrounding communities since 1951. Whether someone is admitted for short-term rehabilitation or long-term care, an individually tailored program of nursing care is developed for each resident.

Meet the Administrator
Michael Kaplan is the new Administrator of Villa Scalabrini Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He has nearly 25 years of long-term care experience in the Chicago area, most recently as Administrator of Saint Francis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Evanston, where he served for three years. Prior to that, Mr. Kaplan was the Executive Director of Palos Hills Extended Care Center, where he served for six years, and the Administrator of Forest Villa Nursing Center in Niles. While at Forest Villa, he also served as Executive Director for nine other skilled nursing facilities. His professional activities include serving on the executive board of the Activities Therapist Association as well as the board of the Illinois Council on Long-Term Care. Mr. Kaplan has been married for 23 years and his family includes three children and a dog.
Licenses and Certifications
Villa Scalabrini Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is licensed by the State of Illinois Department of Public Health, and it is Medicare and Medicaid certified.
