A History of Caring
Resurrection Nursing Home has served the majestic Hudson River Valley for more than 40 years. In 1996, a new and modern Resurrection Nursing Home opened. The center is conveniently located in Castleton, New York, just minutes south of the state capital of Albany.
Comprehensive Services
Resurrection Nursing Home offers comprehensive long-term and short-term skilled, intermediate and subacute nursing and rehabilitative care including:
- 24-hour skilled nursing
- Comprehensive therapy: physical, occupational and speech therapies
- Complete nutritional support services with full-time registered dietician
- Dementia care, tracheostomy care and respiratory care
- Intravenous (IV) therapy: antibiotics, cancer, electrolyte imbalances
- Podiatry care, including diabetic and stasis ulcer care, and onsite dental care
- Psychiatric and psychological care, including support groups
- Pain management program
- Hospice care, provided through the Rensselaer County Community Hospice Program
- Social work services
- Spiritual services for all residents, including Catholic Mass. Clergy of all faiths are welcome to visit Resurrection Nursing Home.

Admissions
Resurrection Nursing Home accepts Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance and private pay residents. All applicants must be in need of 24-hour skilled nursing care. Our admissions committee reviews each application and selects the most eligible applicant as vacancies occur.
