A Commitment to a Family Birthing Experience
We know how important the birth of your baby is to your entire family. So we encourage the baby’s father, siblings, grandparents and other relatives to be as involved as they wish before, during and after the birth. We encourage dad or another support person to be present for the delivery from beginning to end. Ourvisitation policy allows family members to spend time with mom and the new baby and our safety and security practices provide peace of mind.
When not with you, your baby is safe in the well-baby nurseries. An advanced care nursery is available for newborns requiring extra attention. To provide ultimate peace of mind, we have a state-of-the-art security system.
Before, During and After Delivery
Making sure you’re prepared and confident about the entire birth experience is very important to us. So, we’re here for you before, during and after delivery. Before birth, we offer prenatal classes. Moms can get extra help by scheduling a follow-up session with a registered nurse who will provide follow-up care and answer any questions regarding baby care. Once you have your baby, we will provide you with all the help you need. If you’re breastfeeding, specially trained nurses are available to guide you. Infant cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is also available.
When you go home, you may have more questions and even some concerns. Not only do we offer the resources of many affiliated physicians, but also we’re glad to talk to you any time of the day or night. Your nurse will provide our Parent Helpline number to you.
