At the new Orthopedic Center at Presence Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center, our specialty physicians provide expert care for every orthopedic need. We offer the latest non-surgical and surgical treatments, including minimally invasive techniques, to help you get passed the pain and return to a healthy, active lifestyle as soon as possible.
Our brand new state-of-the-art facility features comfortable exam rooms, a large reception area and a beautiful waiting room. For your convenience, a casting area and X-ray equipment are located on site, and free, accessible parking is just steps from the door.
Our Orthopedic Specialists
The new Orthopedic Center is home to the practices of three skilled orthopedic specialists who are committed to attentive, compassionate care that promotes patient progress and recovery. Two medical assistants and a physician's assistant are also on staff to help ensure efficient, personal service and a quality patient experience.
Nicholas Frisch, M.D.
- Board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Clinical interests: knee and shoulder problems, sports medicine, adolescent and adult sports injuries
Dr. Frisch completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic and a fellowship in sports medicine with the Sports Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Group in San Francisco. He held a faculty position at the Case Western Reserve/Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine. He also has worked with the head team physicians for several Cleveland professional sports teams and was an assistant team physician for the San Francisco Giants baseball team.
Randon Johnson, M.D.
- Board-certified in Orthopedics
- Clinical interests: fractures, sports medicine, shoulder surgery and knee replacement
Dr. Johnson earned his medical degree from the University of Arizona, College of Medicine in Tucson, Arizona. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Creighton/Nebraska Health Foundation, Omaha, and a fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine at the University of Illinois College of Medicine.
Joseph Sheehan, M.D., CRNA
- Board-certified in Orthopedic Surgery, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
- Clinical interests: arthroscopic surgery, osteoarthritis, sports medicine and wrist injury
Dr. Sheehan earned his medical degree from the University College Dublin School of Medicine in Ireland, and completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation as well as orthopedic surgery at Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. He specializes in total knee and total hip replacement and is also an assistant clinical professor of Orthopedic Surgery and Rehabilitation at Loyola University.
