Free Health Screenings
Free blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol, and Body Mass Index (BMI) screenings are offered. The goal of this health service is to help community residents know, understand, and improve their four biometric numbers, which are fundamental indicators of personal health. These numbers are blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol, and BMI. Screenings are done by registered nurses and include a consultation that explains your results. Walk-ins are welcomed.

This class is designed for expectant parents, new parents or family members that will be caring for the newborn. Normal newborn appearance, feeding, diapering, sleep patterns, cord care, dressing, bathing and newborn safety are some of the topics that will be covered.

Fitness and Weight Management
Zumba
Zumba fitness aerboics class is taught by a certified Zumba instructor.
Certified Zumba Instructor is Martha Montes.
Comfortable clothing should be worn. Water will be provided.
$5/session; $40/12 sessions

Low-Impact Aerobics
This program includes low-impact aerobics, mild stretching, and bending exercises led by a certified aerobics instructor. Participants can modify the routines depending on their skill level. This is a free program.

Individual counseling on various nutrition diagnosis such as weight loss, high cholesterol, low fat diet, cardiac diet, diabetes, pediatric to geriatrics. Payment is expected at time of service. Fee: $45. Call: 312-770-2275 for appointment.
