  • Medication evaluation and treatment
  • Individual, group and family therapy
  • Substance abuse assessment and therapy
  • Electroconvulsive Therapy Treatment (ECT)

Outpatient Care

Saint Joseph Hospital's Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a comprehensive ambulatory treatment approach that includes diagnostic, psychiatric and psychosocial services. It is designed to offer a level of care and resources not provided in a traditional outpatient or inpatient setting.

IOP is best for the stabilization of individuals with frequent relapse. The medical director, outpatient therapist and patient identify therapeutic goals and formulate individualized assessments and treatment plans.

Situated in a relaxed and calm setting, the IOP provides intensive treatment among a healing community of peers. Individual, family and group therapy is available to assist patients in recognizing signs and symptoms of their illness and empowering them with coping strategies to understand and manage the biopsycho-social aspects of their illness. Medication management is provided when indicated.

IOP programming hours are 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Programming and scheduling are based on individualized needs.
