Health Access Service

Resurrection Health Care has expanded our Emergency Department services by offering a free service to non-emergency patients in all our community hospitals. The Health Access Service helps identify the right level of care for the patient after the emergency medical screening at the Emergency Department.

Regular medical care for chronic conditions can greatly reduce the need for Emergency visits, so the Health Access Specialist can help the patient identify a doctor or clinic for routine treatment, and can also serve as a helpful liaison by connecting the patient with social services or a financial aid counselor.

The on-site and post-treatment services offered by the Health Access Specialist enhances the effective delivery of care and the health and well-being of our communities, faithful to the spirit of our health care Mission.
