Saint Francis Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center, staffed 24-hours a day by board-certified emergency physicians and trauma nurse specialists.

As a Level I Trauma Center, we carry the highest designation for emergency care and are equipped to handle the most critical patients.

The Saint Francis Hospital Emergency Department is steps away from the Galvin Heart Center and Chest Pain Center, so patients have instant access to top notch care.

Identifying the Right Level of Care - Health Access Service

For patients who come to the ER and are found not to have an emergency condition, our hospital now offers a special Health Access Service to help such patients get the care they need. Our Health Access Specialists can help patients identify a doctor or clinic for routine treatment, and can also serve as a helpful liaison by connecting the patient with social services or a financial aid counselor.
