Dizziness can be a symptom of numerous health disorders. The most common cause of dizziness is a problem within the inner ear. A patient with a balance or vestibular disorder experiences dizziness as well as any or all of the following: imbalance, a spinning sensation when moving in certain ways, unsteadiness when walking, nausea motion sickness and fuzzy vision. A hearing problem may be present as well.
