Celebrity Golf Outing Lives up to its Name
The 28th Saint Joseph Hospital Celebrity Invitational Golf Outing on June 28 at Cog Hill was a tremendous success. In spite of the heat, more than 265 golfers helped raised more than $202,000 for the Emergency Department expansion at Saint Joseph Hospital in Chicago.
Our thanks to the hard work of the Golf Committee under the leadership of Jeff Karp and Jim Hill. Other members of the committee include Peggy Arvanites, Ken Bauwens, Carol Buer, Dr. James Chadd, Chris Daddino, Bill Duffy, Sam Gentile, Pat Hardy, Linda Hay, Dr. Lawrence Lim, Dr. Emily Lombard, Joseph Miklusak, Dr. Scott Rubinstein, Joe Skender, John Steiner, Scott Wanner and George Wienold.

Emcee Peggy Kusinski from NBC5 Sports invited a record number of celebrities (25), including Otis Wilson of the 1985 Super Bowl Bears, James "Big Cat" Williams (Chicago Bear 1991-2002), and Jerry Azumah (Chicago Bear 1999-2006).
