Roueen Rafeyan, MD
Dr. Rafeyan received his medical degree from the Istanbul University School of Medicine. He has been the medical director for Resurrection Behavioral Health - Addiction Services (RBH-AS) downtown location for over ten years. RBH-AS provides outpatient substance abuse treatment and evaluations for both adults and adolescents. Since completing a psychiatry residency at Michael Reese Hospital, Chicago, IL, Dr. Rafeyan has maintained a private practice and is an attending physician at several community hospitals. His clinical interests include medication management, and addictive and mood disorders.
Dr. Rafeyan is fluent in Farsi and Turkish, and has board certifications from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and the American Society of Addiction Medicine. He has been teaching psychiatry to resident doctors for many years, and is a frequent lecturer at national and local conferences on the treatment of mental illness and substance dependence.
