Brian is the program manager at Resurrection Behavioral Health - Addiction Services in Palos Heights. He earned his master's degree in psychology from National-Louis University and is currently in a doctoral program with emphasis on counselor education and supervision. Brian is a licensed clinical professional counselor and certified at the advanced and master's level in addiction counseling. He is also a relapse prevention specialist for mental health and addiction populations.
With over 16 years of experience in the addiction/mental health field, Brian began his addiction counseling career with Rockford Memorial Hospital working in all levels of service from detoxification to outpatient care. He has worked as a clinical supervisor for the past several years in the Chicagoland area before joining the Resurrection Behavioral Health-Addiction Services program. He has worked with mentally ill substance abusers, criminal justice populations, and adolescents. He continues to keep current with the addiction field and implements latest technology in all programs.
Brian is an adjunct instructor at Wabaunsee Community College in Sugar Grove for their human services degree for certified alcohol and drug counseling program. He also teaches at Argosy University in their psychology program. He has been a presenter on mental health and addiction topics since 2000 for our state addiction certification association.
