Family Week Program
Program Description
Family Week is an intensive, interactive program designed to provide the opportunity for open communication between family members to begin the healing process. It includes education, interaction with other family members and multifamily group therapy that includes the patient.

Feedback from patients has been that Family Week is the "most important and powerful" component of their treatment experience. It is especially important for family members of professionals and out-of-town individuals to participate in this program. There is also an opportunity for education only on Monday of Family Week.
We also offer a 1-hour family session for loved ones and family members and we encourage all to participate in this at some point during the treatment course. This is essential for those who cannot participate in Family Week because it is the only opportunity for the clinical staff to meet with the individual. The family therapist or another clinician will telephone to set up a time during the week to meet with the individual. Al-Anon is also strongly encouraged for all family members.
Program Structure
Family Week consists of a 3-day program on Monday through Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
