Adult Treatment Programs
Our adult programs are designed to meet the needs of adults requiring substance abuse treatment in an outpatient setting.
First Step: Schedule an Assessment
An individual assessment is the first step to getting help. This assessment will include a comprehensive review of the chemical-use history, pattern and its effects on the individual's health and functioning. The assessment is done by a certified addiction counselor and includes a physician consultation if needed. The assessment will include a recommendation for treatment.
Adult Treatment Programs
All treatment is abstinence-based and 12-step oriented under the direction of a board-certified psychiatrist. The structured programs use peer group interaction, as well as didactic instruction and support as key elements in the treatment process.
Partial Hospitalization (Day) Program (PHP) - Meets daily for six hours Monday through Friday. This provides an opportunity for more intensive involvement in therapeutic treatment at the beginning of the program.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) - Meets four to five times per week for 3-hour sessions of structured treatment activity.
Low Intensity Outpatient Program (LIOP) - Meets for 2-hour sessions once or twice a week.
Continuing Care Groups - Meet weekly following treatment to provide ongoing support to help individuals continue to build on the tools needed to maintain sobriety.
Family Services - Education and counseling for families. Each program has a schedule for family involvement during the treatment stay.
