This Center provides an alternative to overnight hospitalization for some surgical procedures, including general surgery; cosmetic surgery; ear, eye, nose and throat surgery; orthopedic surgery; and gynecological and urological surgery.

West Suburban Medical Center provides a full spectrum of surgical services including cardiovascular, neurosurgical, and general surgery. West Suburban Medical Center's surgical staff are board certified and are committed to academic excellence.

Same Day Surgery is available for outpatients.

In January 2003, the Leonard J. Muller Ambulatory Surgery Center opened after a major renovation and relocation to a more centralized location at Westlake Hospital. The center offers one-stop convenient services as patients remain in the second floor center for all pre-and post procedure care. Patient privacy and modern conveniences, such as a large family waiting area, are just a few of the center's highlights. The center offers a range of outpatient surgical services. The surgery center works in conjunction with the GI suites, which are designed exclusively for digestive health procedures.
