Your Child's Health

As a parent, one of the most important choices you make is selecting medical care for your child. You want a pediatrician or family practitioner who is an experienced, caring professional-one who knows how to make you and your child feel comfortable. Most of all, you want someone you can trust.

Resurrection Health Care (RHC) offers expert pediatric care for newborns through adolescents. Experienced pediatricians and family practitioners provide comprehensive primary care for the full range of pediatric health care needs. And our extensive pediatric emergency capabilities ensure quality care when your child needs it most. Whether it's primary, specialized or emergency care, or educational classes and child-centered services, RHC's pediatric services offers everything your child needs for good health.

Primary Care

Experienced pediatricians and family practitioners provide comprehensive pediatric primary care that covers everything from routine immunizations to treatment for common childhood illnesses. Quality primary care is available at Resurrection Medical Center as well as Resurrection-affiliated outpatient centers throughout Chicago's northwest side and surrounding suburbs. And our neighborhood Immediate Care Centers offer walk-in medical care for minor injuries and illnesses from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily at most locations.

Family-centered Care

A family-centered approach is evident throughout the pediatric facilities of Resurrection Health Care. When an overnight hospital visit is necessary, children visit the Rain Forest Pediatric Care Unit- the inpatient pediatric floor at Resurrection Medical Center. Bright colors, animal tiles and bamboo play huts help keep patients calm and happy during their stay. All nurses are specially trained in pediatric care and are PALS (pediatric advanced life support) certified. Parents are always welcome to stay by their child's side overnight.
