Central Laboratory Services
Resurrection Health Care is a partner with Alverno Clinical Laboratories in conjunction with the Sisters of St. Francis Health Services and Provena Health.
To ensure greater efficiencies, advanced technology and high quality for non-timed dependent laboratory services, some tests are transferred to Alverno’s core laboratory. Conveniently located in Hammond, Ind., Alverno Clinical Laboratories is about a 50-90 minute drive from any Resurrection facility. The hospital laboratories provide immediate response and other time-dependent testing.
Alverno Clinical Laboratories was created in 1999 to provide services for the Sisters of St. Francis Health Services. Provena Health joined the laboratory venture in 2005 and Resurrection Health Care joined in 2007.
