MRI Services

An MRI is a noninvasive, usually painless procedure that uses magnetic fields, radio waves and a computer for imaging rather than radiation. This type of imaging provides greater detail than traditional x-rays, ultrasound, or CT scans.

MRIs produce highly detailed images of body tissue, and are commonly used to accurately diagnose, treat and monitor ailments involving organs, soft tissue, and bones.

Some of the conditions that MRIs are used to evaluate include:

  • Brain and spinal disorders
  • Traumatic injuries
  • Eye abnormalities
  • Tumor detection
  • Liver, kidney and other abdominal diseases
  • Musculoskeletal injuries and disorders
  • Facial/neck abnormalities
  • Blood flow and vessel disorders
