For patients who have had joint replacements, orthopedic procedures and complications related to medical issues, our rehabilitation and nursing facilities all specialize in subacute rehabilitation, which is designed to build strength and endurance. Pain management is a component of the subacute program, to improve functional ability and allow for a quick road to recovery.
Each resident who needs therapy receives it from an entire team of experienced professionals, led by a physiatrist, a physician specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation. Depending on each resident's individual needs, the team may also include:
