Pediatric Therapy

Read our Rehabilitation Services Annual Report
Children develop at different paces and reach milestones at the stage that's appropriate for them. While variations from child to child can be perfectly normal, there are times when an experienced professional can help.
Whether your child needs support for a speech/language delay, a developmental delay, a hearing problem or pain and injury, Resurrection Rehabilitation Network pediatric therapists can help. Our licensed team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech/language pathologists and audiologists provides comprehensive developmental evaluation and treatment for newborns, children and young adults through age 21.
Many of our pediatric therapists have special certifications or authorizations to provide services to children receiving funding from Illinois Early Intervention (EI) and Illinois Department of Specialized Care for Children (DSCC).

Pediatric Physical Therapy
We specialize in cerebral palsy, hypotonia/hypertonia, developmental delays, torticollis, premature infant care, screening high-risk infants and much more. We assist children in meeting developmental milestones, improving strength, balance and coordination. We also teach parents how to help their children at home.
Our therapists have taken extensive continuing education courses in infant assessment and treatment, NICU intervention, latest techniques in the treatment of cerebral palsy as well as balance and coordination problems and weakness. Our goal is to give you the very best care possible in a friendly and non-threatening environment.
Pediatric Occupational Therapy
Resurrection Rehabilitation Network pediatric occupational therapists are dedicated to helping children reach an optimal level of functioning at school, home and in the community. We specialize in the evaluation and treatment of children with deficits in the following areas:
- Fine and gross motor skills
- Visual perceptual/visual motor skills
- Sensory integration/modulation
- Activities of daily living
- Hypotonia/hypertonia
- Upper extremity fractures
- And more
Our goal is to assist the child in developing to his or her fullest potential in order to participate in meaningful life occupations, such as play, self-care, and other activities in school, home, and the community.
Pediatric Audiology
Although we work with all children from birth on, we do have specific specializations for children with developmental and medical disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, premature infants, and other children who are difficult to test. Our goal is to prevent hearing loss, diagnose hearing problems, refer appropriately and provide services to help the child and family have the best auditory communication possible.
