Inpatient services

Providing patients with brief, intensive and comprehensive care, our inpatient services include discharge planning to achieve maximum wellness. Our inpatient units offer 24-hour nursing care from specially-trained registered nurses and counselors. And we have separate units for adults and older adults with chronic and acute psychiatric illnesses. We treat patients with the following diagnoses:

  • Mood disorders including depression and bipolar disorder
  • Anxiety disorders such as generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder
  • Schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders
  • Concurrent substance abuse
  • Dementia with related behavioral and/or emotional conditions

Patients may have concurrent medical illnesses such as diabetes, HIV/AIDS and hypertension that are treated in conjunction with the identified psychiatric illness.

We offer a therapeutic treatment approach that is holistic, addressing each patient's psychological, medical and spiritual needs, including:

  • Medication evaluation and treatment
  • Individual, group and family therapy
  • Substance abuse assessment and therapy
  • Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT)

Outpatient services

The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a comprehensive treatment program that includes diagnostic, psychiatric and psychosocial services. The medical director, outpatient therapist and patient work together to identify therapeutic goals and develop individualized assessments and treatment plans. In a relaxed setting, the IOP provides intensive treatment among a healing community of peers. Group and individual therapy is available to assist patients in recognizing signs and symptoms of their illness and help them with coping strategies.
