Our licensed Occupational Therapists will evaluate and treat individuals of all ages either at the hospital or the Outpatient clinic who are physically impaired due to illness or injury thereby impeding the performance of their functional activities for daily life. Our goal is to optimize a patient's performance of all tasks at home, work, school or play in a safe manner incorporating the use of adaptive equipment, customized upper extremity splints, the use of compensatory strategies or exercise. Diagnoses commonly seen are: strokes, total joint replacements, cardiac problems, generalized deconditioning, arthritis and/or any upper extremity injury (orthopedic or neurological).
