Experimenting with drinking or drugs can get out of control quickly. Addiction can strike at any age. That’s why we have outpatient substance abuse programs designed especially for teens.
We help adolescents navigate the early steps of recovery from this complex disease. Our structured program is designed to treat teens ages 12-18. All treatment plans are provided under the guidance of a psychiatrist and supervised by a medical director.
Treatment addresses multiple aspects of substance abuse, including physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual. A strong emphasis is placed on relapse prevention and 12-step integration.
Services include psychiatric evaluation as well as individual, group, family, multi-family and cognitive behavior therapies, as well as discharge planning to help make sure recovery continues after the program ends.
Treatment takes place during the day, Monday through Thursday. Patients also meet weekly in a multi-family group setting with an addictions treatment professional.
Continuing care program - Following the intensive outpatient program, patients may participate in this next step of their ongoing recovery, offered once a week for a minimum of 12 weeks.
