Our Mission

Mission Office

The Mission Office of Resurrection Health Care oversees the integration of the mission of Resurrection's Health Care Ministry into all aspects of the organization, including patient care services, teaching and research, and professional administrative services.

The Mission Office ensures that across the System policies, procedures and decision-making upholds the charisms of the sponsoring Sisters, Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth and Sisters of the Resurrection through the RHC CORE Values - Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Excellence and Service.

In Catholic health care, a sponsor is a corporate body that chooses health care as a ministry and exercises stewardship over it according to the Sponsors' Expectations. The Resurrection Health Care Sponsorship Board holds reserve, exclusive, and approval powers for certain decisions. For example, the Sponsorship Board appoints the President and CEO of Resurrection Health Care; appoints the Chairperson of the Board; approves bylaws, strategic plans, mergers, transactions involving large sums of money; and all issues related to Mission.

Constitutive Elements of Catholic Health Care reaffirm our ethical standards of behavior that flow from the Church's teaching about dignity of the human person and prove authoritative guidance on certain moral issues that face Catholic health care today.
