Associate Director, Family Medicine Residency
Provide clinical and administrative efforts to the Family Medicine Residency program as are needed to
maintain quality patient care, promote excellent resident education , and ongoing curricular improvements
Additional Duties:
1. Overseeing all graduate education for the Family Medicine Residency
2. Assist in ensuring program compliance with all the guidelines and regulations set forth by the American Medical Association on Medical Education, the Residency Review Committee for Transitional Programs as outlined in the Special Requirements for Residency Training, the American Osteopathic Association, the Hospital’s Chief Executive Officer, the Hospital’s Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of the Medical Staff.
3. By supervising the residents in the office setting, ambulatory clinics and hospital.
4. By serving as faculty advisor for a team of residents doing periodic performance evaluations.
5. Performing semiannual resident performance evaluations for all residents and producing an end of training summerative evaluation.
6. By performing chart reviews on all patients seen by the team for educational and quality purposes.
7. By serving as a role model by caring for a panel of patients in the office 8-20 hours per week and in hospital setting as required.
8. By taking night and weekend call covering the faculty and resident practices in rotation. Share in weekend and holiday rounds when on call.
9. Performing regular scholarly activity sufficient to obtain ongoing academic promotion and for program needs.
10. Ongoing maintenance, development and growth of educational progress in the program.

We are in the top 5 percent of all EDs nationally ranked by Healthgrades. PA staffed fast track, academic involvement with senior level EM residents and 16 hours of double coverage.
