Epic Implementation Project
Resurrection Health Care (RHC) will soon begin the electronic health record (EHR) implementation process with Epic as the chosen vendor. Epic is recognized as the health care industry's leading electronic health record. Designed to offer the seamless exchange of data throughout the organization, the Epic system will create a single, accessible, paperless, medical record for each of our patients.
Uniting a common clinical framework based on best practices with the very best clinical technology will help RHC realize their goal of becoming a more patient-centered, integrated health care delivery system producing clinical outcomes in the top 10% of the nation.
This technology will change the way we deliver health care across the system. With a focus on tracking clinical quality and safety improvements, the EHR will assist our clinicians in delivering consistent, high-quality care with positive outcomes.
As RHC focuses more on improving patient centeredness across the system, the EHR will be designed to ensure optimal patient satisfaction at every point of contact. The system will help eliminate duplicative data entry and provide for a smooth exchange of information across sites of care, services and departments.
RHC will provide training in Epic for qualified individuals, and certification will be required post-training.
