Dr. Simovic earned his medical degree from the University of Belgrade School of Medicine, Belgrade, Serbia. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Saint Joseph Hospital. He is board certified in internal medicine. His special interests include hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, stroke, coronary disease, dementia, depression, and preventive medicine.
Dr. Simovic truly enjoys caring for elderly patients. For many years, he has been visiting patients at Saint Mary’s Home, a Chicago need-based senior facility that is part of the Little Sisters of the Poor. He also has several homebound elderly patients who he cares for with home visits.
Dr. Simovic is fluent in English, Serbian and Croatian. He is on the Medical Staff of Saint Joseph Hospital. His office participates in Medicare and Medicaid, as well as most major HMO, PPO and conventional insurance plans. Dr. Simovic is currently accepting new patients.
