Dr. Edelson earned his medical degree from University of Illinois School of Medicine, and he completed his residency in internal medicine at University of Illinois Medical Center. He is board certified in internal medicine and gerontology. His special interests include general internal medicine, problem solving for patients, lipid metabolism, hypertension, diabetes and mood disorders.

He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a member of American Medical Association, Illinois Medical Society, and Chicago Medical Society. Dr. Edelson's personal life is integrated into the practice of medicine, but when there is time, he enjoys a veggie meal, walking the dog and a late night bicycle ride down Elston Avenue.

Dr. Edelson is on the Medical Staff of Saint Joseph Hospital. His office participates in Medicare and most insurance plans. Dr. Edelson is currently accepting new patients.
