Many members of the surgical residency faculty at Saint Joseph Hospital hold faculty appointments at University of Chicago, University of Illinois College of Medicine and/or other well-known Chicago-area universities. These physicians lead the educational activities of the program, which include grand rounds, morbidity and mortality conferences, vascular conferences and surgical diseases of the gastrointestinal system, as well as skills lab curriculum.
