Undergraduate School/Degree: University of Notre Dame, Anthropology Pre-Med

Medical School: University of Illinois Chicago

Hobbies/Interests: White Sox, Notre Dame Football, Da Bears, soccer, beer brewing, traveling, napping on my couch, and a good home cooked meal!

Why I chose Saint Joseph: St. Joe's felt like a good fit from the beginning. Every person I met was friendly and honestly interested in who I was and how they could help me become a better doctor. I was drawn to the challenging learning environment that I knew would teach me to think for myself, yet knowing that there was always someone there I could count on for help. I realized that St. Joe's would help me grow as a physician and presented me with the best opportunities to become skilled at the art of medicine.

Favorite place or activity in Chicago: Grilling on my back porch

If I had not gone into medicine what I would be doing now: Anthropologist

The best vacation I've ever taken was: Every vacation is fun, but the best one has to be my most recent. I drove an RV with some friends to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons, and proposed to my now fiancé during the trip. A vacation definitely to remember.
