About the Medical Library
The Medical Library at Saint Francis Hospital provides state-of-the-art, knowledged-based medical information in an array of formats. Electronic texts are available through Stafref, AccessMedicine, and Ovid Books covering a range of disciplines. Over 1,000 full-text journals can be accessed through the hospital Intranet with search engines provided by Ebscohost, Ovid and PubMed for your literature search needs both remotely and in-house. Decision-making databases such as UpToDate and DynaMed enhance your clinical practice along with the Images.MD database for those visually dynamic presentations. Any resource not on-site in the library's print or electronic collections is available through a document delivery service. The Medical Library at Saint Francis is continually updating to assist in meeting your core competency needs.
