Conferences
A variety of conferences and other educational activities are provided to augment the surgical experience. Some are held in common and afford the opportunity for residents at varying MGH sites to meet on a regular basis.
Educational activities for residents at Saint Francis Hospital include the following:
- Monthly Surgery-Radiology Clinical Correlation Conferences
- Tuesday Mock Oral Exams held at each hospital on a rotating monthly basis (for all surgery residents)
- Surgical Pathology Conference
- Weekly Morbidity and Mortality Conference
- Monthly Journal Club (for all surgical residents)
- Weekly Tumor Conference
- Daily Morning Report
- Visiting Professor Program
