CT spiral technology is used routinely to enhance diagnostic capabilities in conditions such as vascular disease and in trauma patients where 3D reconstruction is of considerable help to the practicing surgeon.

Saint Francis Hospital is a trauma center. This greatly enhances the residents' involvement with and participation in the diagnostic workup. Our residents are highly skilled in the care of traumatized patients, which is a very important function of our institution.

Teleradiology is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This methodology supports our residents' work whenever it is needed.

Our breast center is an up-to-date, specialized facility where interaction between multiple specialties is encouraged. Computerized reporting of the imaging findings greatly enhances the delivery of care.
