About the Medical Education Department
The staff of the Medical Education Department is responsible for the undergraduate, graduate, and continuing medical education programs at Resurrection Medical Center. Transitional year residents will meet with their program director to develop the optimum program tailored to meet their individual needs. Each department coordinator -- from Medicine, Surgery, OB/Gyn, and Pediatrics -- is responsible for their individual department’s educational component developing a schedule of daily/weekly teaching conferences specific to that particular medical discipline. We hold teleconferences with medical schools and other hospitals to enhance the interactive educational experience.
