A program with a twenty-five year tradition of training Family Medicine residents has just taken on a new challenge: to train physicians in the team approach to sports medicine.

Recently started in 2005, the Resurrection Sports Medicine Fellowship is the only accredited primary care sports medicine fellowship in the city of Chicago. Supported by Resurrection Health Care, the largest Catholic Health Care system in Chicago, Resurrection Medical Center, a 400+ bed university-affiliated community hospital, and the Resurrection Family Medicine Residency Program, the fellowship has access to all of the academic offerings of our numerous institutions.
