Conferences
Fellows take part in a weekly primary care sports medicine didactic series as well as a monthly journal club held in conjunction with our sports orthopedists. A Sports Medicine/Radiology/Orthopedics Grand Rounds is held every 2 months. Fellows also assist with providing sports medicine lectures/workshops to both the Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine Residents.
The Fellows are involved in the planning and presenting at Resurrection's yearly Sports Medicine Symposium that is sponsored by the fellowship program each spring.
Each fellow is provided with funding to attend the AMSSM's Research Workshop for Sports Medicine Fellows in July/August. The fellowship also provides CME funding to allow the fellow to attend one of the national annual sports medicine conferences hosted by either ACSM or AMSSM.
