Helen Yang, DO
Medical School: Touro University COM - Nevada
About Me: I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. I attended Southern Methodist University for undergraduate education. After Osteopathic medical school, in Nevada, I did two years of OBGYN residency in Michigan before transferring to Presence RMC. In my spare time, I enjoy playing outdoor sports such as volleyball and tennis, and I like playing the piano, painting, and finding places to eat.
Why Resurrection: My top reasons of transferring to Resurrection is because of the size of the hospital and the location. It's bigger than my previous program, but not too big where it loses a sense of community. You get exposure to a diverse patient population and get the training you need to become a great doctor. Through it all, you get to work with a wonderful group of staff. Chicago is fun. There's so much to do in Chicago. It's nice to be in an area where you can find entertainment and all sorts of restaurants.
