Medical School: Western University of Health Sciences, COM of the Pacific - California

About Me: I was born and raised in Tarzana, California. I went to Georgetown University, where I received a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Russian Language. After spending a year working at the National Institutes of Health and another year working as a patent secretary, I decided being a desk jockey wasn't for me and I applied to medical school where I received my Osteopathic medical degree and my MSHS after completing a Pre-doctoral Teaching Fellowship in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. A new resident of Chicago, I spend my spare time exploring the city, learning to bake, and watching stand-up comedy of any sort.

Why Resurrection: I chose Resurrection because I wanted to move to Chicago permanently after residency, and the program has extraordinary teaching faculty and opportunities. It was important to me to be exposed to such a diverse patient populations through the various hospitals we rotate though. I feel my co-residents are fantastic!
