Medical School: Touro University COM - Nevada
About Me: I am a 5th generation native of Coeur d'Alene, ID. I went to the University of Portland. Then I did Osteopathic medical school in Las Vegas, Nevada. I started my post-grad training at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center as a Traditional Year with emphasis in General Surgery, but then had a change of heart and started OBGYN here with Presence Health RMC two years ago. I love it! Next year I will be applying to Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Fellowships with emphasis in robotics.
Why Resurrection: The size is ideal for excellent learning. There are a variety of cases and patient populations. It is close to the city, and the staff and doctors are friendly. Resurrection also treats their residents very well. And who can forget that O'Hare Airport is right next door, so you never know what's going to be ambulanced over from International Gate H-43!
