Why We're Different
Resurrection Family Medicine allows each resident to get the most out of their education by allowing individual style and experiences to help steer their goals and electives. Camaraderie within your year group and between year groups is one of the strengths of the program to allow everyone the best experiences.
Resurrection has kept the single residency community flavor in a hospital that also has the resident back up and support systems so that you are not left on your own when you are not comfortable. By the time you graduate, however, you will be confident and want to make decisions on your own.
Each resident is assigned a team leader who acts as their advisor as well as the faculty member that keeps track of your progress during the program. Team members cover during vacations, educational meetings, and when you are not in the office. All year groups are represented on each team.
You remain with your team and team leader during your three years at Resurrection developing a camaraderie and simulated group practice.
