Kyle Rahrig, DO
Medical School: Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine
About Me: I was born and raised in the Detroit suburbs. I come from a very large, tight-knit family (my father is the youngest of 15... no, that's not a typing error), and I am the oldest of 3 boys in my immediate family. Indiana University was my destination for undergrad, and then I moved to Chicago to attend CCOM for medical school. Outside of the Resurrection Family Medicine Residency, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, golfing, and watching sports (I can't get enough football).
Why Resurrection: As a lifelong Midwesterner (I've lived in Michigan, Missouri, Indiana, and Illinois), I am happy to say that there is no better city in the world than Chicago, and I am happy to be training in such a diverse, amazing place. The reputation of the Resurrection Family Medicine Residency is certainly one of happiness, and it left me feeling welcomed. After meeting the residents and faculty here, I knew this would be the best fit and the best experience for me to become a well-rounded, caring physician.
