Medical School: Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine
About me: I was born and raised in the western suburbs of Chicago. However, after 19 years in Illinois, I was ready to explore a new state. So I went to Providence College in Rhode Island. As much as I loved my four years in New England, I always knew I would eventually return back to Chicago. That's why I jumped at the opportunity to first start my master's and then attendant medical school at Midwestern University in Downers Grove.
Why I choose Resurrection: I first heard from a classmate how much he enjoyed his Family Medicine rotation at Resurrection, so I tried to do an elective there during my fourth year of medical school. However, there were no openings even 10 months in advance. So from that alone I knew this must be a great place to work and learn. Once I got the opportunity to interview here, I saw firsthand that the hugely positive word-of-mouth reviews I've been hearing from everyone were true. The attendings, residents, and staff are all great to work with. It is easy to be excited to come into work when you know you will be walking into such a positive atmosphere.
