Luan Elezi, MD
Medical School: Ross University School of Medicine
About Me: I was born in Kercov, Macedonia and moved to the United States during my senior year of high school as part of the foreign exchange student program in Slidell, Louisiana. I began my undergrad studies at Louisiana State University; however transferred to Loyola University Chicago in order to be closer to my siblings that had moved to Chicago. I received my undergrad degree in Biology and attended Ross University School of Medicine. I am married and have three boys, so when I am not at work, I love to spend time with my family. We enjoy swimming, playing at the park, going to the movies, and spending time with our extended family.
Why Resurrection: I chose Resurrection based on the experience I had on my interview day. I felt very much at ease in their friendly environment and met great people. The faculty and residents were enthusiastic and supportive. I also wanted to stay in Chicago so the location was also very ideal for me.
