EM Rotation at Saint Francis Hospital
The Emergency Department at SFH offers the resident a community hospital experience with an urban population on the north side of Chicago.
SFH is a Level 1 trauma center and residents have hands-on training with trauma emergencies since there is not a designated trauma team.
This rotation consists of seventeen 10-hour shifts with an average of 4-5 night shifts. As a EM-2, you will rotate through this department for 3 blocks.
