Trauma Rotation at Mt. Sinai Hospital
Interns are an integral part of the trauma team throughout the day as well as daily patient care of the surgical-trauma patients admitted to the general and step-down units. Mt. Sinai has the highest number of penetrating trauma in Chicago and consistently provides procedural opportunities for residents.
Interns are on-call every fourth night along with the Trauma senior resident and surgical on-call team. You also work with residents from UIC and University of Chicago.
