Obstetrics Rotation at Resurrection Medical Center
This rotation was recently changed from being conducted at St. Alexius Hospital to Resurrection because of resident feedback. Though a major role of the EM-1 is to learn the techniques in delivering a newborn, the goal of the rotation is also for the EM-1 to be comfortable in the evaluation of the pregnant woman, whether in her first trimester, third trimester, or laboring. The rotation may further be adjusted according to feedback from this year.
