Anesthesia Rotation at Resurrection Medical Center
The EM-1 works directly with the anesthesiologists at Resurrection and gains valuable experience with multiple procedures until a controlled setting. Procedures mainly include intubation and vascular access. Residents are at work during schedule surgery hours. There are no competing anesthesiology residents or students on the rotation and the attendings are often very willing to take the time to teach proper techniques. There is no call during this rotation.
